This designation is a formal statement of the University’s appreciation and gratitude for the many ways long-term faculty have advanced the mission of St. Kate’s and the innumerable ways they have supported students, colleagues, their disciplines, and the University. Emeritus status also provides a way for retired professors to maintain a formal connection with St. Kate’s.
