The nutrition science program at 亚色影库 empowers you with the knowledge and skills to confidently work with companies and consumers on major public health concerns around food, nutrition, health, and related social issues.

Nutrition science encompasses the exploration of nutritional processes, including the intricate relationship between food components and their impact on health and disease. Students engage in courses with a strong science foundation, including chemistry, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology. Studies in nutrition reflect on the breadth of the field, from community nutrition to metabolism.

At St. Kate's, the distinctiveness of earning your nutrition science degree is enriched by the opportunity for hands-on experience in clinical settings, active collaboration with faculty on research projects, and engaging internships. These invaluable experiences play a vital role in helping you explore and discover your career path.

Starting in 2024, you will need a Master of Science degree to earn a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.

Dual Degree Program
Applied Science in Nutrition Science
St. Kate's offers the opportunity to apply your liberal arts education to our unique 3+2 dual degree programs with two options: Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics or Master of Public Health. These programs allow students to complete their bachelor's degree while pursuing a graduate degree. Earn both your bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 in just five years!

3+2
Students interested in a fast track toward becoming a registered dietitian (RD) can complete both their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. This includes a dietetic internship and eligibility for the national registration exam to earn the RD credential

Applied science in nutrition science students complete the pre- public health sequence of courses and supporting work for the MPH program.

*The 亚色影库 Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program is pending accreditation. Our eligibility application was accepted by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and we are in the candidacy process for our proposed Future Education Model graduate program in nutrition and dietetics. The program is not accepting applications at this time but will do so upon successful completion of the eligibility application process if the program receives candidacy for accreditation status from ACEND.
