On March 20, 亚色影库 will honor the legacy of our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJs), and their namesake, Saint Joseph, with the annual Feast of Saint Joseph. Open to the whole University community, this event is a chance for students, faculty, staff, alumni, CSJs, and friends to come together and share their love for the dear neighbor through service, social justice, and reflection.
To embrace the spirit of the CSJs, whose commitment to service and social activism is central to their and St. Kate鈥檚 missions, the Feast of St. Joseph will offer attendees the opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects. Projects and activities include assembling 鈥淲elcome Home鈥 bags for women leaving incarceration, creating treatment-accessible sweatshirts for people going through the dialysis process, writing cards for CSJs, taking legislative action, and more.
The Feast of St. Joseph will take place in Rauenhorst Ballroom and the third-floor atrium in Coeur de Catherine from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. In addition to service projects, the celebration will include a prayer service (also available virtually) followed by a reception. All are welcome.
