亚色影库 today announced LEAD & INFLUENCE: The Campaign for the Next Level of Excellence, the most ambitious, comprehensive fundraising campaign in the history of the University, with the goal of raising $130 million by the Feast of St. Catherine on November 25, 2023. Funds raised will strengthen financial aid, expand student research and career readiness, expand faculty opportunities for professional development, and improve facilities, all with the aim of helping the next generation of women leaders realize their capacity to change the world.

鈥淭he need for ethical, brilliant women leaders has never been stronger,鈥 says University President ReBecca Koenig Roloff 鈥76. 鈥淭his campaign is an incredible investment in St. Kate鈥檚 and in our students, and will enable us to fulfill our mission of educating women to lead and influence. By reducing their financial burden, ensuring academic excellence, and enhancing career development, we will not only continue to graduate the brightest minds, we also will exponentially increase their ability to be the world鈥檚 leading changemakers.鈥

The campaign features four major fundraising priorities:

  • Priority: Support and Connect Exceptional Students. The campaign will bolster need-based financial aid and academic and professional development, as well as launch a new Office of Scholarly Engagement and Excellence.
  • Priority: Strengthen Faculty and Academic Excellence. The campaign will fund faculty development, the use of cutting-edge technology, and curricular innovation. Funds will also support a new Center for Innovation and Inclusive Excellence.
  • Priority: Preserve and Renew Our Campus. The campaign will create science and technology spaces that reflect the University鈥檚 established excellence in STEM fields and refurbish Our Lady of Victory Chapel.
  • Priority: Advance the Katie Fund. Increasing giving to the Katie Fund 鈥 the University鈥檚 general giving fund 鈥 will allow St. Kate鈥檚 to act on its most immediate needs and opportunities, supporting students in all three schools and at all degree levels.

鈥淪t. Kate鈥檚 has always been an institution of excellence, and this campaign will infuse the funds needed to accelerate our progress to the next level of excellence,鈥 said Joanne Jirik Mullen 鈥83, co-chair of the campaign. 鈥淚 am honored to be part of the campaign. We are building on 115 years of proven excellence in leadership, liberal arts, sciences, health sciences, and business acumen. We look forward to our alumni, partners, and the community we serve banding together to ensure the Next Level of Excellence through this campaign.鈥

To date, the campaign has reached 58% of its goal. The campaign鈥檚 lead gift came from the generosity of the 182 women of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet St. Paul Province, who gave the Minneapolis campus that they had owned for more than 130 years.

Other lead gifts came from generous alumni Joan Kelly '46, Lois 鈥63 and John Rogers, ReBecca Koenig Roloff '76 and Mark Roloff MAT'88, Judi Druke Teske '66, and Brenda Grandstrand Woodson '80, along with our generous partners, which include an $18 million grant from the GHR Foundation and $1 million grant from the James J. Hill Center.
