亚色影库 announced today that it has reached the $120 million milestone in the journey to raise $130 million for LEAD & INFLUENCE: The Campaign for the Next Level of Excellence.
鈥淭he excitement is palpable throughout our St. Catherine Community as we get ever closer to our campaign goal,鈥 said ReBecca Koenig Roloff 鈥76, president. 鈥淭he generosity of our alumni and donors is seen and felt here on campus as we approach the final year of LEAD & INFLUENCE: The Campaign for the Next Level of Excellence, and it shows the broad support for our mission to educate women to lead and influence.鈥
The campaign is the largest in the University鈥檚 history and is designed around four key priorities that support students, advance the work of the faculty, and preserve the campus.
Over $40 million in contributions to the Our Faculty campaign priority paved the way for establishing three new endowed professorships, supporting our brilliant educators and attracting academics at the top of their fields.
Enthusiastic support for Our Students has enabled an early launch of the Office of Scholarly Engagement, our campus resource for engaged learning. OSE advances post-graduation outcomes of our students applying for competitive fellowships, spearheads collaborative research projects, facilitates community learning partnerships, supports students in studying abroad, and encourages pursuing an Honors diploma through the Antonian Honors Program.
The importance of Our Place is clear among our community, and now the University plans to begin renovations to Our Lady of Victory Chapel and the Mendel science building in summer and spring of 2023.
Most importantly, donors have committed over $30 million in scholarships for current Katies.
Special thanks to the donors who made it possible to cross the threshold of this new milestone, including:
-
A gift of over $1.5 million from the estate of Agnes Moon to fund two existing scholarships: the Anna Jayoung Chung Endowed Scholarship Fund, which gives preference to students studying philosophy, and the Sr. Mary L. O'Hara Endowed Scholarship Fund for students with financial need.
-
A $1.5 million commitment from Joanne Mullen, the single largest gift in support of Our Lady of Victory Chapel.
-
A gift of over $1.4 million from John and Lois Rogers to further our renovation work on the Mendel science building.
-
A gift of over $1.3 million from Jean Mcllquham Stalcup '72 to establish an endowed scholarship Fund supporting the University's mission. This fund will be used to provide scholarships to students in the College for Women with demonstrated financial need. This scholarship may be renewed annually to the same student as long as they remain in good standing.
-
An anonymous gift of $1.3 million in support of Career and Professional Development.
-
A gift of $1 million from former trustee Debra L. Wilfong, Ph.D. and Christine L. Lienert to establish an endowed scholarship providing financial aid to women enrolled in the College for Women.
鈥淲e could not be more grateful to our St. Catherine community,鈥 said Beth Halloran, executive vice president and chief development officer. 鈥淲atching our campaign goals grow from aspirations to reality gives momentum for us to finish this work we started 鈥 for today, and for the future Katies.鈥
