The 亚色影库 track and field team was firing on all cylinders this weekend at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls invite. The team won the Falcon Invite at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with an overall team score of 127, thanks to multiple personal records (PRs) and first place finishes from multiple student-athletes. One of those athletes was Megan Pohlmann '17 (Grey Eagle, Minn. / Long Prairie-Grey Eagle), who has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week for her performance.
All season long, Pohlmann has been one of the team鈥檚 top performers in weight throw, but her performance on Saturday was a personal best. In a field that featured 19 throwers from Division III institutions, Pohlmann was the best, winning the event with a personal best throw of 14.47 meters.
However, Pohlmann didn鈥檛 just win the weight throw event and crush her PR in the process. She also found her way on St. Kate鈥檚 top-10 list in the event. After Saturday, Pohlmann is now second all-time at St. Kate鈥檚 in the event and currently holds the No. 3 distance in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season.
