The St. Kate鈥檚 community is invited to join the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJs) in celebrating the Feast of Saint Joseph on March 13. Held each spring, the University-wide celebration honors the legacy of Saint Joseph and the work the CSJs carry on in his name.

Since their foundation in Le Puy, France, the CSJs have embraced the example of Saint Joseph in their commitment to loving the dear neighbor through service, social justice, and reflection. In this spirit, the Feast of Saint Joseph will offer a variety of service projects and opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and community members to honor and give back to their community.

The celebration will take place in Rauenhorst Ballroom (Coeur de Catherine) from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 13. In addition to information about ways to get involved with the CSJ community, there will be opportunities to create fleece blankets for children and families at Project Home, craft pottery bowls with St. Kate鈥檚 Empty Bowl Project, write notes of gratitude to a CSJ, and more. The festivities will culminate with an evening prayer service and reception.
