Alumni gather for Reunion weekend at St. Kate鈥檚

The annual celebration also included an alumni farewell to President Roloff.

Over two hundred 亚色影库 alumni returned to campus June 7鈥9 to reunite with classmates and celebrate their connections to the Katie community.

The festivities kicked off on Friday with a special Evening With St. Kate鈥檚 honoring the retiring President ReBecca Koenig Roloff 鈥76 and her years of leadership and service to the University. Alumni shared tributes to President Roloff and the alumni relations team presented her with a farewell gift. As a St. Kate鈥檚 graduate herself, President Roloff鈥檚 connection to the alumni community runs deep, and the alumni farewell was a meaningful goodbye to the President of the past eight years.

The weekend continued with fun activities for alumni from class years ending in 4 and 9. Reunion celebrants took tours of Our Lady of Victory Chapel and Mendel to see the ongoing renovations, volunteered on projects around campus as part of a new initiative called Volunteer While You're Here, and watched Barbie for a St. Kate鈥檚-style movie night on Saturday. In one of the most treasured alumni traditions, members of the classes of 1974 and 1999 celebrated their 50- and 25-Year Reunions with pinning ceremonies and class photos.

Above all, Reunion served as a chance for alumni to reconnect with former classmates, reminisce about their days on campus, and relish in all the changes that have taken place in the time since graduation 鈥 whether it鈥檚 been five years or 55.

鈥淩eunion is a special occasion for alumni to return to a campus we all love and cherish deeply,鈥 said Lindsay Butterfield Whipple '09, director of alumni relations. 鈥淚t was a joy to see classmates finding spaces to connect with each other and share their memories of St. Kate's.鈥

The weekend was an expression of the lifelong impact of a St. Kate鈥檚 education, and a reminder that no matter how long it鈥檚 been, alumni will always be welcomed back to campus and into the fold.
