��ɫӰ��’s Board of Trustees has elected two new members: Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Anne K. McKeig ‘89 and Christine W. Moore.

Anne McKeig, ’89, a Minnesota Supreme Court Justice, is the first Native American to serve on the Court and was appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in June of 2016. Prior to her Supreme Court appointment, Justice McKeig served as a district court judge in the Fourth Judicial District, and was the presiding judge in the Fourth District’s Family Court. She previously worked as an assistant Hennepin County attorney in the Child Protection Division for over 16 years, where she specialized in Indian Child Welfare cases.

Justice McKeig is currently an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, past chair and current board member of the Board of the Division of Indian Work, and is a frequent speaker at many local and national conferences on the issue of Indian Child Welfare. A member of the White Earth Ojibwe tribe, she earned a bachelor of arts in English from St. Catherine in 1989 and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1992.

“We are honored that Anne has agreed to join the St. Catherine Board of Trustees,” said President ReBecca Koenig Roloff ’76, MBA. “She exemplifies the very best of what a ‘Katie’ is, and what a ‘Katie’ can do to lead and influence the world.”

“Judge Anne McKeig is a wonderful addition to our board,” said Board Chair Margaret Ford ’82. “We welcome her home to plan for a strong and joyful future for our University.”

Christine Moore is senior vice-president and chief human resources officer for Allina Health, a post she has held since 2015. She was previously vice president of talent and organization development at Ecolab and served Best Buy in three different positions: vice president of new business customer solutions, vice president of BestBuy.com, and vice president of human resources. In addition, Moore was a managing director and consultant at RHR International.

She has also served on the board of the Montessori Center of Minnesota and volunteered in the Wayzata School District. She holds a bachelor of arts in economics from Scripps College and both a master of arts and a doctorate in organizational psychology from Claremont Graduate University.

“We are delighted that Christine Moore is joining the St. Catherine Board of Trustees,” said Roloff. “In addition to her stellar personal qualifications and career success, she brings a unique perspective on the healthcare industry’s need for creative, smart leaders.”
