Beth Reidel Carney '82, vice president of development and alumnae/i relations, has announced that Mandy Iverson will join 亚色影库 as the new director of alumnae/i relations. Iverson comes to St. Kate's as a liberal arts grad with commitment to social justice, work steeped in advancing women and experience in connecting alumnae/i with one another, with students and with employers. Colleagues describe Iverson as a strategic, hard-working and thoughtful leader. Iverson tells us that she finds great joy in inspiring a team and is passionate about educating women to lead and influence.
Iverson's professional background includes alumni relations, volunteer engagement and fundraising. Most recently, she served as the Director of Volunteer Programs at Neighbors, Inc. Prior to that, Iverson was Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at the University of Minnesota鈥檚 Carlson School of Management. At the Carlson School, she created the Women Connect event series connecting female alumni, students, faculty and staff for networking and professional development. Also impressive was her work with GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade), which connected students with recent graduates for mentorship, tutoring and job placement. Earlier in her career, Iverson taught English in Seoul, South Korea.
Iverson holds a master of fine arts from Eastern Washington University and a bachelor of arts in English and Religion from Concordia College in Moorhead.
Iverson will begin her role at St. Kate鈥檚 on June 3.
