Goalkeeper Tayler Koop '20 earned the Fleur-de-lis award after playing the best soccer of her collegiate career over the last two weeks (October 3–17). Koop recorded two shutout wins in three games, including a big 1-0 shutout of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) rival the University of St. Thomas. She helped in program history by making 12 saves in 90 minutes of play. Koop also made several game saving plays in the October 14 upset, including three one-on-one saves in the second half. Over the past two weeks, Koop has made 14 saves in MIAC play and posted a 2-1-0 record with two shutouts.
Mary Jane Voss '18, captain of the Wildcats swimming and diving team, received the Fleur-de-lis for her incredible athletic and leadership accomplishments in the pool over the weekend (Oct. 10–24). Voss led the Wildcats at the MIAC Pentathlon October 13, and won the event as an individual for the first time in her career. She was the top point scorer among the 50 student-athletes competing in the meet — and she was the only swimmer to finish in the Top 5 in every event she competed in. Voss finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:04.19), 100 IM (1:05.99) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.99) to start her final season. She finished fourth in both the 100 backstroke (1:05.88) and 100 freestyle (58.34).
