Faculty Member Wins Mpls.St.Paul Magazine's Outstanding Nurse Educator Award

Last week, Jocelyn Bessette Gorlin was presented with the Outstanding Nurse Educator Award by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. These awards are presented annually to individuals nominated by friends, family and colleagues for their work in the public and medical communities. Gorlin was one of 17 professionals to receive an award for her contributions to the healthcare industry.

An assistant professor of nursing at 亚色影库, Gorlin鈥檚 research involves studying the lives of families and children with severe chronic illnesses. Previously, she served for more than 25 years as a pediatric nurse practitioner of bleeding disorders at Boston Children鈥檚 Hospital and the Children鈥檚 Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. She received her master鈥檚 of science in nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Yale University and her PhD in nursing from the University of Minnesota.
