Business department recognizes student leaders at awards ceremony

2018 Business Administration Student Awards Dinner

On March 19, the Department of Business Administration held its 33rd annual Student Awards Dinner. The ceremony honored 26 students living out the St. Kate’s mission to lead and influence. This event recognizes students with exceptional academic and leadership achievements within the business department. Notable achievements included varsity athletic status, student organization leadership, volunteerism and dean’s list status.

The event also honored key alumnae. The keynote speaker, Angela Chambliss, is a 2004 graduate of the Business Administration: Marketing and Management program at St. Kate’s. Chambliss serves as the Director of Influencer Marketing at Best Buy. Andrea Lee ’06, the Principal Global Market Development Specialist at Medtronic, was awarded the Alumna of the Year Award. Lee is a graduate of the Business Sales and International Business and Economics program.

In addition to the awards, the ceremony also inducted 10 students into Delta Mu Delta, an honor society that recognizes academic achievement at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level for business programs at schools accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs.
