It鈥檚 both an honor and a St. Kate鈥檚 tradition鈥 It鈥檚 the Alumnae/i Awards. Each year, 亚色影库 recognizes outstanding graduates who demonstrate the ideals of the University through excellence in leadership, service to others, and an influential role in home, profession, community, church or volunteer activities. More than 130 Katies have been honored with an Alumnae/i Award since 1978. It is the highest honor the University gives to individual graduates.
St. Kate's also recognizes young alumnae/i making a difference with the Rising Star Award. Nominations for St. Kate's alumnae/i who have graduated in the last 15 years (2003鈥2017) will be considered for the Rising Star Award.
Award winners are honored at Reunion each year. In addition, award-recipients receive a citation and a specially designed silver pin in the shape of the Catherine Wheel, one of the unique symbols of the University.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to recognize an outstanding graduate of our institution,鈥 says Alumnae/i Relations Director Karen Jothen MAOL'06. 鈥淧lus, the nomination process is convenient and easy!"
In December, a committee selects outstanding leaders, from those nominated, to receive awards. Anyone may submit a nomination. Nominations for 2018 Alumnae/i Awards are due on November 30, 2017.
