Each spring, we honor our accomplished students through presenting the top academic awards and revealing the recipients of the All-University Student Leadership Awards at the annual Honors and Awards ceremony.
Because a contributing factor to a student's success is their support system, we invite not only recipients and their families to the ceremony, but our whole St. Kate's community. This includes students supporting students (who then get to see the possibilities for their future), but also faculty and staff who have helped their students get to this pinnacle in their academic journey.
University Awards
Awards are given to students from many departments throughout the university as well as the six prestigious All-University awards through a process of nomination and selection by both students and staff. These awards include the Mary E. McCahill Memorial Award, Dean of Students Award, Helen B. Lemmer Award in Honor of Mother Antonia McHugh, Mary Alice Muellerleile Leadership Award, Michael J. Baynes Reflective Life Awards, and the Thomas More Award.
Honor Society Inductees
An honor society recognizes and encourages high scholarship and/or leadership achievement in a specific field of study. Each year, deserving students are selected for induction into one of St. Kate鈥檚 24+ honor societies.
