As of March 1, 2024 COVID vaccination will no longer be a University requirement for students, faculty and staff.
- Student in a healthcare program may continue to be required to have COVID vaccination
- While St. Kates no longer requires COVID vaccination it is still highly recommended

COVID Testing
Testing for Students
The Health & Wellness Clinic will offer appointments and free tests to students. Please contact the clinic for further information.
- At-home rapid tests are (a limited number per household while supplies last) and for purchase online and at local retail stores and pharmacies.
- Primary care providers, pharmacies and other locations also offer testing. .

Health, Wellness, and Prevention
- No COVID-specific excused absences will be provided to professors.
- Students should seek support like any other routine illness — if a student is seen in the Health & Wellness clinic, the clinic can provide a letter/note for absence.
- The University will not require masking.
- Masks are only required for those who are actively sick and are seen in the Health & Wellness clinic.
- Masks also remain required for those who test positive for COVID-19 and choose to return to campus on days 6-10 of their isolation period Anyone not able to wear a mask must remain home for 10 days.
- For those exposed to COVID-19, a should be worn for 10 days following exposure.

Exemptions to the University’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy may affect your ability to be placed at clinical and fieldwork sites and may result in inability to progress in your program. All health profession students with COVID-19 vaccine exemptions are required to sign the prior to applying to the programs.
