We take a hands-on, practical approach to chemistry in the lab and classroom. Through lab research experiences, training in green chemistry principles, and use of modern instrumentation, we prepare chemistry students for a broad range of careers, including medical school, graduate school, and industrial careers.

American Chemical Society-certified program, founding member of Green Chemistry Commitment

Over 2/3 of our students participate in research and internships, many present their research at chemistry conferences, and some are coauthors on research publications

100% post-graduation placement—nearly equal portions of our students go on to graduate school in a chemistry-related field, other professional programs like medical school or pharmacy school, and jobs in chemical industries.
