Sharon Radd is Associate Professor and Program Director in the MA-Organizational Leadership program at St.Catherine University. She is also an Equity Fellow with the Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis; the Founder and Lead Consultant of ConsciousPraxis based out of Minneapolis; and a Senior Partner with The 5 Practices Group. With 20+ years of experience in public education as a school administrator, professional development facilitator, and school social worker, Radd holds a BA in Liberal Arts from UW-River Falls; a BS in Social Work and an MS in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State Mankato; and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas. Radd was a 2006 Bush Leadership Fellow, and received the 2010 Best Dissertation Award from the Leadership for Social Justice Special Interest Group of the American Education Research Association. Radd teaches courses in Research Design, Inclusive Leadership, and Leading Teams as well as a study abroad course to Havana, Cuba, and the final Leadership Seminar in the MAOL program. She is the author of several works related to leadership and social justice, and most recently, co-author with Drs. Gretchen Givens Generett, Mark Anthony Gooden, and George Theoharis of the book, Five Practices for Equity-Focused School Leadership.
