Laurrie McKendry holds a BA in Critical Studies of Race & Ethnicities and Women's Studies and an MBA, both from St. Catherine's University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from St. Mary's University. She Currently resides in California and primarily teaches business courses to incarcerated students. As an Adjunct Professor at St. Kate's, she is a fervent advocate for lifelong learning, with an unwavering dedication to advancing anti-racist initiatives and fostering diversity and inclusion. She acknowledges that nobody is perfect, including herself, and understands the importance of taking responsibility for and learning from our mistakes. Teaching, to McKendry, is a collaborative journey, and she is deeply grateful for the privilege of partnering with her students to recognize their inherent worth and empower them to realize their highest potential.
