Erin Schumacher, PT, DPT is the Assistant Director of Clinical Education and assistant professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â. Erin is a graduate of Penn State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a movement science emphasis. She received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in 2010. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree from Liberty University. Her areas of interest are in sustainability of clinical education and diversification of physical therapy education and practice. She has practiced as a clinician in various practice settings since 2010 and been an APTA credentialed clinical instructor since 2011. Erin has served as faculty in higher education since 2019 and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
