Chant茅Martinez Thurmondis a Strategic Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Talent Consultant and Futurist who partners with emerging tech startups, digital health innovation companies, and VC firms throughout the U.S. helping them attract, retain and engage top talent. She is co-host and co-founder of The Darkest Horse (TDH), a minority and women-owned Think/Do Tank exploring the intersections of Radical Inclusion, The Future of Work, Emerging Technology, and Health, Well-being, & Human Potential. Chant茅 is a co-host at "Greater Than Code", a podcast that brings in the voices of women, people of color, and trans and/or queer people to discuss the human side of software development and technology. She is a Contributing Writer at Futurithmic , a digital publication powered by NOKIA that explores the implications of emerging tech. In addition, she serves as a consultant and trusted advisor to a handful of minority-owned small businesses, nonprofits, mission-based startups, and social innovation initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mount Mercy University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from St. Kate鈥檚.
