Catherine Graeve is an Associate Professor in the College for Adults. She has taught global health, community health, mental health, and holistic care of the older adult. Catherine also works as a Hospice Nurse. She has nursing experience in public health, oncology, bone marrow transplant and hospice. She is currently a mentor for the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments (ANHE). She is on the policy committee for the Minnesota Cancer Alliance. Catherine has also worked as a community liaison for a research effort to better understand how environmental factors affect health beginning before birth. She has a doctorate in environmental and occupational health nursing. Her dissertation work involved an intervention study on chemotherapy safety for workers, which resulted in a state chemotherapy safety work group. She has a strong interest in welcoming nursing students to the amazing experience of being a professional nurse.
