Cari Gelle, MS, teaches Saint Catherine鈥檚 Retail Buying Course. A聽 unique feature of the course this semester is a creative mentorship with聽 Target buyers for merchandise assortment planning. Cari has worked聽 in fashion design, product development, merchandising and buying for聽 a variety of companies including Wilson鈥檚 Leather (apparel and outerwear), Target Corporation (accessories, home furnishings) and As modee North America (board games). She is an experienced educator,聽 having previously taught fashion and retail merchandising and management at the Art Institutes International of Minnesota and University of聽 Wisconsin-Stout. Cari has served on the Advisory Board for the Retail聽 Merchandising Major at the University of Minnesota as well.
