Ashley is passionate about the holistic delivery of nursing care that transfers into her guidance of student nurses in the College for Adults. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Minneapolis Community and Technical College and her RN-BSN degree from Augsburg University. While attending Augsburg, she notes her public health coursework in Nicaragua was particularly impactful and strongly believes in the global impact of nursing on world healing. She received her Master in Nursing Education from ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â and is interested in how nurses can maintain caring amidst a highly-technical care environment. Her practice areas include Cardiology, Critical Care, and Perioperative Nursing. Besides her academic interests, she completed Yoga Teacher Training, which has closely aligned to her nursing and teaching practice. Her hobbies include music, traveling, and enjoying Minneapolis lakes with family and friends.
