Master of Arts in Montessori Education and Leadership

Take your Montessori experience to the next level.

Use your Montessori credentials to receive up to 15 credits toward your Master of Arts in Education degree.

Infuse your Montessori teaching with fresh and innovative strategies.

This program is open to those who have a bachelor’s degree and a MACTE Montessori certificate from any age level. As a graduate of this program, you will provide support for the development of the whole child — physical, emotional, cognitive, and social — in a thoughtfully prepared learning environment. Throughout the year, St. Kate’s offers dynamic professional development opportunities for Montessori teachers. Through your own research, you will shape best practices for the next generation of educators and make meaningful connections with other Montessori professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Since you have a Montessori credential, completing the remaining graduate credits will be streamlined with the flexibility of online courses. Through these studies, you can expect to renew your enthusiasm for teaching and:

  • Learn strategies to help children reach their full potential
  • Foster an engaging, collaborative learning environment
  • Complete an action research project
  • Overcome education obstacles, such as systemic racism, learning disorders, physical and mental exceptionalities, and more
  • Advance your career while making new connections with Montessori educators

Students of all genders are welcome in the program.
