Dr. Kathryn Mercado joined St. Catherine's University in 2023 as an Assistant Professor and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Track Coordinator. She is a practicing NNP with over 11 years of NNP experience and over 16 years of overall NICU experience. Dr. Mercado received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Connecticut, her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Bachelor of Nursing from Kennesaw State University. She is passionate about educating future nurse leaders and contributing to the mentorship and academic successes of future and current nursing students.
