Students walk down Cleveland Ave by the Highland movie theater

Highland Park Neighborhood

St. Kate's is located in St. Paul, Minnesota's Highland Park neighborhood. From beautiful trails and parks to the neighborhood’s bustling business district, there’s so much to explore within minutes of leaving the campus gates.

Within a half mile of campus, you’ll find restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, gift shops, a Target store, and a movie theater. If you’re outdoorsy, the scenic Mississippi River is less than a mile away, with running and biking trails along its bluffs that connect to beautiful parks.

Life in the Twin Cities

St. Paul is a lively city that’s second only to Boston in higher education institutions per capita. Together, St. Paul and its neighbor, Minneapolis, are known as the Twin Cities — and known nationwide for their cleanliness, safety, theater and music, lakes (more than 900) and overall livability. St. Kate’s students hop on the bus right outside the campus gates to take advantage of the hundreds of restaurants, concerts, interesting shops and shows — and internships in many of the area’s major corporations and top-ranked medical centers.
